Portsmouth Citywide Neighborhood Committee Celebrates National Night Out on August 1, 2023

Portsmouth, New Hampshire -- Portsmouth joins more than 17,000 communities nationwide to celebrate the 40th Annual National Night Out on Tuesday, August 1 (rain date August 8) from 5 to 7:30 pm. National Night Out is a community-building event that promotes neighborhood partnerships with the police, fire, and public works departments, as well as city officials, while fostering neighborhood camaraderie.

Organized by the Citywide Neighborhood Committee and the Portsmouth Police Department, National Night Out is an evening filled with outdoor social activities and neighborhood block parties. With the participation of 18 neighborhoods, the City has celebrated this cherished tradition for the past 28 years.
