Do you feel as if you can’t keep up with the endless to-do list, no matter how fast or hard you work?  This participatory workshop will take you through reflection exercises to help you reset your expectations, even if you can’t shorten the list.  Bring a blank piece of paper and a pen.

Participants will gain an understanding of evaluating the effects of multitasking on their professional and personal life satisfaction.

Developing Focus and Clarity
Thursday April 14 | 6:30 – 7:30 PM
Register now!

Do you feel scattered all the time, unable to focus? Learn how a little bit of mindfulness practice can start to strengthen the ability to increase focus and clarity, even in our busy lives and with racing minds.

Participants will learn the basic principles of mindfulness practice and how to apply it to everyday situations.

Turning Towards the Good
Thursday April 21 | 6:30 – 7:30 PM
Register now!

Our brains have a natural negative bias.  It’s easier to see what’s wrong than what’s right, even in the best of times. But we can train our brains to be more open to the good in our lives with HEAL, a mindfulness exercise developed by neuropsychologist, Rick Hansen PhD, author of Hardwiring Happiness.

Participants will learn the HEAL technique and how to integrate it into their lives to strengthen their resiliency.

Loving-Kindness
Thursday April 28 | 6:30 – 7:30 PM

Register now!

Armoring ourselves emotionally can often be used as a self-preservation strategy under stress but it has a downside in that we can become numb, less empathetic and shut down to our own emotions as a result.  Learn how practicing a little loving kindness can help you to stay emotionally grounded with challenging people and situations.

Participants will learn the basic principle of loving kindness and a small practice they can use in their workplace, homes and daily life.

Registration is required. To register, please use the links above.
