Corporate Drive and Goosebay Drive Sewer Improvement Project
The City of Portsmouth has a sewer improvement project that will consist of the replacement of existing sewer pipes in Goosebay Drive and also in Corporate Drive from Rye Street to Goosebay Drive (see project area below). The City received bids in March and has awarded the construction contract to Sargent Corporation of Stillwater, ME. Sargent Corporation will begin construction on the sewer improvements in the month of June.
It is anticipated that construction will continue for approximately four months with the majority of the work completed by the end of October 2018.
During construction, travel delays and detours can be expected in the project area. The City will provide periodic project updates on this page as well as the citywide project map at https://www.cityofportsmouth.com/publicworks/projects. Information will also be provided using traffic message boards near the project site.
