The Capital Improvement Plan (CIP) sets forth a six-year schedule and financing strategy to accomplish necessary public improvements and meet infrastructure needs. The Planning Board oversees the development of the Capital Improvement Plan, which supports the Board’s responsibilities to prepare and amend the City’s Master Plan.

  • Review the current CIP linked in the right column.
  • See the projects that have been funded or moving forward can be found at portsnh.co/projects

All project requests will be reviewed and unique/new projects will be submitted to the CIP Citizen's Request Committee.

  • CIP Joint Work Session with City Council and Planning Board (November 12)
  • CIP joint Public Hearing with City Council and Planning Board (November 18)
  • Planning Board votes to recommend the CIP to the City Council (November 21)

December

  • Adoption of the CIP by the City Council (December 2)
  • CIP Incorporated into the budget process (ongoing)
