Public Meeting on Middle Street/Lafayette Road Bicycle Lanes

As news of the Coronavirus (COVID-19) outbreak continues to evolve, we wanted to update you about the scheduled public meeting for tonight and the precautions we are taking to help ensure the health and safety of staff and meeting participants. The City is closely monitoring the COVID-19 situation and are taking action based on local, state, and national public health experts.

City staff have been advised not to come to work if they are feeling unwell or have come into possible contact with a COVID-19 carrier.  At the meeting tonight, we will be implementing precautions to limit potential exposure. In addition, we will be live broadcasting the meeting on Comcast Channel 22 and YouTube. And you are welcome to submit comments about the bike lanes directly to the Planning Department via email (planning@cityofportsmouth.com).

With that in mind, we ask that you use your best judgment when attending tonight's meeting. If you are not feeling well, please stay home to protect the health of others.
