WEDNESDAY REPORT TO MENTOR MONDAY TEACHER

Tomorrow (Wednesday) students will be reporting to their Mentor Monday teacher at the beginning of TASC to pick up their school pictures and ID then they will head directly to their assigned TASC destination for that day.

 

PICTURE RE-TAKE DAY-THURSDAY

Picture re-take day is Thursday of this week. If you would like to have your picture re-done please bring your packet to picture day to turn in. If you missed photo day please plan to go on Thursday even if you do not plan to order pictures so we will have a photo for your ID.

 

ALL CONCERT CHOIR MEMBERS

All concert choir members are reminded to report to the choir room for block 4 combined rehearsal today.

FOUR SQUARE TOURNAMENT

There will be a Four Square tournament held in the gymnasium during lunch time today.  If you want to participate, bring $5 cash into the gym at lunch or you can give the money to Joey Clarizio in advance to be able to play. The prize for the person who wins the tournament is going to be at least $30 and it will be bigger depending on how many people participate. This is a one-day tournament so please go to the gym with money if you want to have a fun time and possibly win a large cash prize!

 

ATTENTION JUNIORS

St. Paul’s School will be here on Wednesday Nov 6 at 11:15 in the Little Theater.  You can TASC yourself in if you are interested in hearing more about this program.

 

YEAR BOOK PRICE GOING UP 11/2

The price of the 2020 yearbook will be going up on November 2nd.  Secure your book with a $20 deposit soon!!

 

RYE PUBLIC LIBRARY

Wednesday, October 16th

6:00-7:30pm Harry Potter Lego Castle construction! You build it, and we’ll provide the snacks. Sign-ups required. Grades 5+

Thursday, October 17th    

 6:30-7:30pm Halloween Mask Decorating! Join us to make your own mask. Sign-ups required. All ages welcome!

 

FUTURES SOPHOMORES

Futures sophomores meet Thursday, October 17th during lunch.

 

BOYS ICE HOCKEY

There will be a meeting for all boys interested in playing ice hockey this winter in the Little Theater on Thursday, Oct. 17 during lunch.

 

ECO CLUB HOLIDAY CRAFT FAIR

ECO Club is now taking applications for our December 14th Holiday Craft Fair.  All Students, Clubs and teachers are invited to participate at a reduced cost of $20 per table.  Please see Mrs. McGlinchey for an application.

 

SKI CLUB

If interested in joining ski club please see Ms. Isabelle in RM 232. Transportation fee of $80 is due by October 18th. Cost of season passes (lessons included) are $299 or $169 for a midweek only pass. Total cost would be $379 or $249(midweek). Please contact Ms. Isabelle with any questions.

 

PORTSMOUTH PUBLIC LIBRARY

YALSA has combined Teen Read Week and Teen Tech Week into a month long teen library celebration.  At PPL we have an ongoing challenge.  Teens in grades 6 -12 can come into the teen room and pick up a BINGO card for the month.  For each square you complete, you earn a raffle ticket.  PPL will draw the raffle at the end of month.  When you complete a whole row you get a box of candy.  Pick up a copy of the BINGO card in the PHS library!

MILITARY CAREERS SPEAKER PANEL - OCTOBER 16

A military careers speaker panel will be held during TASC Block on Wednesday, October 16, in the Little Theatre. Representatives from the various military branches will be in attendance. If you are interested in attending, please TASC in to Ms. Wiggin in Guidance on that day or stop by her office to let her know you would like to attend.
