Four Tree Island is part of Prescott Park and is accessed off of Peirce Island Road via a causeway from Peirce Island.  The island is carry-in, carry-out. It is open dawn to dusk.

Restroom facilities are open daily in late April to October 31st (weather permitting). Reservations for the Spring/Summer season open on April 1 at 9:00 am each year.

The Island is a public facility open for all to enjoy.  There are several picnic tables and grills on the island for small and medium sized groups to use without reservation. There are no vehicles allowed on the island. The island is accessed via a gravel causeway that is about 100 yards long.

In addition, there is a small pavilion with three picnic tables and three grills, which can be reserved through the City of Portsmouth Recreation Department. After April 1, reservation can be made by calling 603-427-1547 or visiting rec.cityofportsmouth.com to create an account and make a reservation online. We strongly recommend making your reservation online.

There is no reservation fee, however, the City does encourage donations to the Park (for more information on donations, click here).
