The Portsmouth School Department recognizes the importance of good nutrition and wants to take all reasonable steps to make sure students have access to school meals.
A Director of the Food Service Program shall be employed to be responsible for the operation of the Program under the direction of the Business Administrator. The Director shall be responsible for the compliance with all Federal, State and local rules, regulations and Board policies.
The Portsmouth School Department strives to create a healthy school nutrition environment in which all food and beverages on campus contribute to healthy eating patterns and support the health curriculum.
