Prescott Park Docks
Publically available docking space is available at Prescott Park on the Piscataqua River in Portsmouth. Reservations are possible. The dock is governed by city ordinance. The dockmasters monitor VHF Channel 09, and notice of arrivals is requested.
Regulations
- No commercial craft allowed
- No boats larger than 55 feet without written permission of the park trustees
- No rafting
- 72-hour limit on stays without written permission of park trustees
- No docking except at designated floats
- Fees can be collected in advance by the dockmaster
- Fines and criminal prosecution are possible if the regulations are violated or fees not paid.

Reservations
- Reservations may be made in person and by phone (603) 431-8748 around the end of March.
- Reservations must be paid for in advance by check or cash: Prescott Park Docks, P.O. Box 1103, Portsmouth, NH 03802-1103. Tel: (603) 431-8748
- The dockmaster assigns dock space. Particular slips are not guaranteed, but requests will be honored if possible.
- No reservation will be held after 1800 hours.
- There are no refunds for canceled reservations. Customers delayed by unforseen events (weather or personal) may receive a credit slip to be used at a later day. Cancellation must be received prior to the reservation time. Credit requests are made to the dockmaster.
- No alcholic beverages or domestic animals are allowed in Prescott Park.
- Boaters are requested to observe a quiet time after 2300 hours.
