International Language Department

Our International Languages Department provides basic through advanced instruction in French, Latin and Spanish. We use a proficiency model in teaching modern languages. Students concentrate on communication in speaking and writing in levels one and two. Reading skills are enhanced in level three. The integration of all skills is the focus of level three through the advanced placement (AP) classes. Through contrast and comparison, inquiry and immersion, students develop critical thinking skills. Active participation is essential for success. We promote excellence and rigor by offering A.P. courses as well!
