HOLIDAY ENSEMBLE

Holiday Ensemble will rehearse after school tomorrow in the band room.

 

TASC ENRICHMENT:  HOLIDAY MAIL FOR HEROES

Come help make the season bright for our NH veterans and wounded soldiers.  We will be making cards for the NH Veterans Hospital.  Hot cocoa and Christmas carols are optional!! Wednesdays, 11/28 and 12/5.  TASC to Heath-Barlow in 145.

 

BUSINESS CLUB MEETING

Business Club meeting tomorrow - Nov. 15th in Room 112 (Mrs. D'Amour-Whitcomb).

 

FUTURES FRESHMEN

Futures Freshmen will meet Thursday at lunch.

 

KOREAN CULTURE CLUB

Korean Culture Club meets today during lunch in Ms. Kelleher's room (258).

 

ECO CLUB

ECO Club meets every Wednesday at lunch in room 319.  Come change the world!

 

MODEL UN

Model UN will be meeting today at lunch in Ms. Young's room, 224.  All are welcome.

    

PLAYERS CLUB

The Players Club meets Wednesday after school in the Cafeteria. Stop by for music, chess, Monopoly and fun.  See custodian Matt Dwyer for more details.

 

TASC SCHEDULING THROUGH THANKSGIVING WEEK

Students/Mentors, please make sure all students are scheduled through Thanksgiving. Schedule this week and Monday and Tuesday next week as the next mentor day is the Monday after Thanksgiving

ENVIRONMENTAL POLICY ISSUES

Interested in Environmental Policy issues?  Then sign up for guest speaker, City Council member, Josh Denton.  Hear about the politics of plastic bag ban at the state and local level, Friday, November 16th in the library during TASC.

 

WORK EDUCATION CREDIT

Students who are working at least 9 hours per week and have not signed up for work education credit yet this year, please see Ms. Wiggin in Guidance. The Quarter 2 deadline for completed paperwork is Friday, November 16.

PHS Performing Arts Department Presents SHREK THE MUSICAL

November 9-18 

Fridays and Saturdays @ 7pm and Sundays @ 2pm.

MILITARY SPEAKER PANEL

A military speaker panel will be held during TASC Block on Wednesday, November 28 in the Little Theatre. Representatives from 5 military branches will be in attendance. If you are interested in attending, please TASC in to Ms. Wiggin in Guidance on that day or stop by her office to let her know you would like to attend.

 

NO PLASTIC NOVEMBER

How to participate in No Plastic November:

  1.  Single Use plastics are off limits (plastic grocery bags, water bottles, plastic forks and knives).
  2. Reusable plastics are okay (reusable water bottles, plastic tupperware, washable plastic cups and plates)

 

Fact:  Plastic promotes the formation of toxic brain proteins linked to the development of alzheimer’s disease.
