GROUP SWIM LESSONS
Class registrations are made in person, on a first come, first served basis. Registration will begin at 8am on the dates listed. Registration will be ongoing through the first week of every session. Payment is due in full at the time of registration. Both members and non-members can register for session-based classes. Members will receive a discount on the cost of lessons when their membership remains valid throughout the session. The Portsmouth Indoor Pool reserves the right to cancel a class due to low enrollment. There are no makeup sessions for missed classes.

Great Bay Masters
Monday and Wednesdays from 6pm to 7pm. This is a great way to challenge yourself in a coached setting with other swimmers.
Tuesday from 6-7pm and from 11-12pm on Fridays. This class offers great camaraderie, a hard work out and individualized coaching to develop your technique and efficiency.
Tuesdays and Thursday from 7-8pm
We have trained coaches who will video tape you and give you tips on your swim technique. This is set up on an individual basis. Please call the indoor pool if interested.
American Red Cross
The Portsmouth Indoor Pool offers Lifeguarding and Water Safety Instructor Training certifications and re-certification classes.
We have instructors to teach CPR/First Aid both for the professional and the community. We keep our interest list running year round. Please let us know if we can help you or your organization. Please call the pool and have yourself put on an interest list for these programs.
The Portsmouth Indoor Pool in conjunction with Rick McAvoy Aquatics presents the Hydro Burn Program. This program is designed for anyone who wants to lose weight, improve their overall mobility/fitness level as well as their quality of life.
This aquatic circuit training program consists of both shallow and deep water exercises utilizing various aquatic exercise equipment. A total body workout program is performed at varying intensity levels to maximize your exercise experience and prevent you from getting bored of the same old exercise routine.
