Adult Day Trips

The Portsmouth Recreation Department is pleased to offer a full schedule of adult day trips over the fall, winter and spring seasons. 

Register for all adult trips at the Spinnaker Point Recreation Center. Questions or concerns about the trips, including questions on weather delays, can be directed to (603) 766-1483.  The price of each trip includes transportation and admission to the main attraction.  Lunch and additional admissions are on your own unless specified. NOTE: Please be courteous to all by arriving on time for all day trips.

All 2018 trip registrations will begin on Monday, November 6 for Portsmouth residents, and Thursday, November 9 for non-residents.  All trips will depart from the Park & Ride, Rte. 33.  Most trips will be in the city recreation bus, which is limited to 14 passengers.  For further information call the Rec. MUSEUM OF SCIENCE

NH STATE HOUSE/COMMON MAN RESTAURANT

Brief Description:  Come see where our legislators do their legislating! We’ll have a tour of the state house, explore the visitor center and learn about NH’s first in the nation primary.  We’ll eat lunch at the Common Man restaurant.

 

ISABELLA STEWART GARDNER MUSEUM

BOSTON, MA

Brief Description:  Isabella Stewart Gardner was a patron of the arts and spent three decades amassing a

collection to rival any museum’s.  Her vision was to share her treasures with the people of Boston, which have been on display since 1903.

Brief Description:  Take a tour inside the three story glass globe of the Mary Baker Eddy Library to learn the history of this work of art.  After the tour, take a ride on the world famous Swan Boats of Boston Public Garden.
