Wanted Person-UPDATE

Yesterday, the Portsmouth Police Department issued a Press Release seeking the public’s assistance in locating a wanted person for Animal Cruelty. An arrest has now been made in conjunction with that broadcast.

On October 31, 2017 at approximately 7:00pm the following individual surrendered himself to the Portsmouth Police Department and was charged with the following crimes:

Kenneth Hale

DOB: 07-28-1958

Last Known address 886 State Street Unit #33

Animal Cruelty (Class A Misdemeanor) for: Negligently depriving any animal of necessary care, sustenance or shelter RSA 644:8(a)

Animal Cruelty (Class A Misdemeanor) for: Negligently abandons or leaves an animal without adequate provisions for its care RSA 644:8 (e)

Animal Cruelty (Class A Misdemeanor) for: Negligently causing any animal in his possession or custody to be subjected to cruelty, inhumane treatment or unnecessary suffering of any kind RSA 644:8(f)

Mr. Hale was released on $7,500 personal recognizance bail and faces arraignment in the Portsmouth District Court on December 4th, 2017 at 8:00am.
