Sexual Assault

On March 19, 2022 the Portsmouth Police Department received a report of a sexual assault where the victim is under the age of 18.  During the course of the investigation the suspect was identified as:

James McKenzie

55 year-old

Stratham NH

McKenzie turned himself in to the Portsmouth Police on March 23, 2022.  He is charged with Sexual Assault and Simple Assault.  McKenzie was released on Personal Recognizance bail and given an arraignment date of April 11, 2022 at 8:00am in the Portsmouth District Court.
