Motor Vehicle Accident - DWI Arrest

On June 12, 2021 at approximately 12:37AM, Portsmouth PD officers were dispatched to the area of Bartlett Street and Cate Street for a report of a motor vehicle accident. Units arrived on scene quickly and found a single motor vehicle in the roadway evidencing significant damage. The vehicle was found to be unoccupied and information developed indicated someone had fled from the vehicle prior to police arrival.


K-9 Officer Aaron Stacy and his partner K-9 Axe were the first units to arrive. Additional patrol units quickly established a perimeter and K-9 Axe began a track. In short order, the K-9 Team of Ofc. Stacy and K-9 Axe located a male subject on the property of Ricci Lumber. As a result of an at-scene investigation:

was arrested and charged with DWI, Conduct after Accident and Criminal Trespass. Hussey was transported to the Portsmouth Regional Hospital by the Portsmouth Fire Department. He was later released on personal recognizance bail. He’s scheduled to be arraigned on these charges on August 9, 2021, in the 10th Circuit– District Division – Portsmouth Court. The Portsmouth Police Department was assisted on scene by the Portsmouth Fire
Department and the New Hampshire State Police.
