Land Use Boards Continue to Meet Remotely

The City's land use boards (Planning Board, Site Plan Review Technical Advisory Committee, Historic District Commission, Zoning Board of Adjustment, and Conservation Commission) will continue to meet remotely pursuant to the Governor’s Executive Order 2020-04, Section 8, as extended by Executive Order 2020-5, and Emergency Order #12, Section 3. Board and commission members will be participating remotely and will identify their location and any person present with them at that location. All votes will be by roll call.

Most public meetings will also be live broadcast via the City’s Youtube Channel and on Comcast Channel 22. Members of the public who would like to speak at the meetings will be required to register to join the meeting over the Zoom teleconferencing/videoconferencing platform. Registration information will be provided on the individual web pages for each meeting. A unique meeting ID and password will be provided once you register.

Those interested in submitting written comments should email planning@cityofportsmouth.com or mail to the Planning Department, City Hall, 1 Junkins Ave, Portsmouth, NH 03801. Comments received by 4:30pm for all night meetings and 1pm for all daytime meetings on the day of the meeting will be provided to board/commission members in advance of the meeting and will be incorporated into the record of the meeting.
