Instructions for Submitting Land Use Applications During COVID-19 Shut Down

As of the end of the business day on Monday, March 16 and effective until May 4th or as otherwise directed City Hall is closed to the public. If you are submitting an application for an upcoming meeting, we will continue to accept applications and payments through the Planning Department’s online permitting system. We are temporarily waiving the requirement to submit hard copy plans until we re-open to the public.  If you would prefer to submit payment by check, please mail the payment to the attention of the Planning Department, City Hall, 1 Junkins Ave, Portsmouth, NH 03801.
