Homeless Veterans Winter Outreach

10 AM – 12 PM

The Department of Veterans Affairs will host an outreach event for homeless veterans on Tuesday, January 7 from 10 AM to 12 PM at the Portsmouth Public Library. Services offered include:

• Help accessing VA benefits and services
• Housing assistance for homeless
• Vets Counseling and substance abuse referrals
• Emergency shelter and other social services
• Legal Services
• Health screenings
• Employment Services
• Library Services

Attendees will have access to:

• Non-perishable food items
• VA surplus items
• Personal care items
• Refreshments
