NaNoWriMo: National Novel Writing Month

November 2017

November is National Novel Writing Month, also known as NaNoWriMo. Every year, writers everywhere join together for support, encouragement and motivation as they attempt to write 50,000 words in 30 days. You can sign up for the challenge at nanowrimo.org, but only in Portsmouth can you find in-person connection, snacks and space to write all month, free pizza, and an open mic night, thanks to the library! PPL will host 6 events this year:

Kickoff & Write-In
Sunday November 5 | 1:30 - 4:30 PM | Levenson Room
Get inspired, find a writing buddy, and get a jump on your word count! Coffee & tea and snacks provided.

Bring your own laptop or borrow one of ours, enjoy coffee & tea and snacks, and write in the company of other NaNoWriMo hopefuls!
