Electric Energy Assistance Program
New Hampshire Department of Energy/Southern New Hampshire Services

  • Provides eligible customers with financial assistance for monthly electric bills.
  • Discounts range from 8% to 76%, depending on customer's household size and gross income.

New Start Program
Eversource

  • Offers financial relief, including a budgeted monthly payment plan and partial debt forgiveness with each on-time payment.
  • Must be a current Eversource residential electric customer and meet certain criteria.

Weatherization Assistance Program
New Hampshire Department of Energy/Southern New Hampshire Services

  • Free home energy audits for eligible NH homeowners or approved renters.
  • Determines efficiency improvements and employs energy conservation measures.

Fuel Assistance Program
New Hampshire Department of Energy/Southern New Hampshire Services

  • Part of federal Low-Income Home Energy Assistance Program (LIHEAP).
