On Tuesday, July 17, join us at the library for The Biology of Addiction with Vanessa Levin, MCP. Vanessa will discuss the latest scientific understanding of addiction and substance use, as well as treatment, with a Q & A to follow. Open to all!
And don’t miss our companion program on Thursday of the same week: Ask A Person in Recovery Anything. Join our diverse group of panelists to ask anything of folks in recovery from substance use! No topic is off limits. The Seacoast community will have an opportunity to engage in a respectful, moderated conversation with their neighbors in recovery. Panelists will speak from personal experience and answer questions about recovery, identity, stigma, family, discrimination, advocacy and health. They will represent a variety of backgrounds, experiences, and models for recovery.
