ONLINE Mindfulness for Challenging Times: Kindness for Me, You and the Whole World

This series includes four 90-minute online workshops on mindfulness. Each workshop will include a short talk, an opportunity to practice together, and discussion. Come to one or all four! No experience necessary. Everyone is welcome!

July 13: Introduction to Mindfulness: What it is, how to do it and how it can help right now  

In this workshop, you will learn some common definitions of mindfulness from contemporary science and wisdom traditions, a simple mindfulness practice and some suggestions of how to apply mindfulness to daily life. 

Liz Korabek-Emerson is a certified mindfulness teacher, transformational workshop leader and creative coach dedicated to helping people become more resilient in their workplaces, homes and communities. Korabek-Emerson has designed mindfulness programs for individuals and organizations, including the Portsmouth Hospital, Beacon Hospice, Liberty Mutual and the Riverwoods Retirement Community. She leads weekly drop-in groups at the Portsmouth Hospital and Gateway Taiji Studio, and has been a volunteer facilitator for the library’s Weekly Meditation program.
