Abatements & State Low/Moderate Income Program

Abatement Application

This application is for Taxpayers who wish to apply for an Abatement from Municipal Property Taxes. The Taxpayer must file the abatement application with the municipality by March 1 following the notice of tax. This application does not stay the collection of taxes; taxes should be paid as assessed. If an abatement is granted, a refund with interest will be made. IRS Form W-9 has been attached to the abatement application and is required by the City in order to process any refund in taxes.
