SUSTAINABLE PORTSMOUTH
What does a sustainable Portsmouth look like to you? Share your vision next Saturday (Nov. 21) by working in small groups with fellow residents to discuss ways to make our community more sustainable. The City Council last year asked Portsmouth Listens to create a process to develop a citizen-led sustainability vision and five-year plan, and this 8:30 a.m. to noon event at Portsmouth High School is part of it. Participants will identify the five most important characteristics of “Sustainable Portsmouth.” Early next year the community will be invited to discuss how to achieve the vision and then in the spring will be invited to explore how to implement it.
