Sketching with Sandy May 20, 1999

Students had the opportunity to improve their sketching skills with Sandy McDermott from Massachusetts.  Sandy went outside with the children and took them through a landscape drawing of the school playground.  Then they went back to the classroom to practice some drawing drills.  Students drew the resident stuffed pheasant several different ways.
These skills will be put to use when they begin their own recordings of the North Mill Pond and its inhabitants.
