| Penguins
don't fly.
Each eats krill. Nests are where they lay. Gentoo is a name. Underwater they swim. I like penguins. Nice or not. |

Once there were penguins. They jumped on pieces of ice and they hopped on an island. They jumped to Antarctica. They hopped into the water. |

Little Lost Penguin |
|
One day Anna was taking a walk. On her walk she saw her best friend Sami.
Anna and Sami were having a lot of fun on the ice. They were playing on
the ice. It was very fun on the ice. Then it was time to go home.

It was a stormy night in Antarctica. Thunder was cracking. Lightning was
flashing. The penguins were frightened. They were also excited because
after the storms it was very icy. They liked to slide on the ice that came
after the storm. After the storm it was very icy. It was also time for
laying eggs. When the chicks were born they were curious about the ice.
They slipped on the ice with their parents. When the chicks got bigger
they knew what the slippery stuff was.
