Position:
Outreach Therapist – New Franklin Elementary School
Requirements:
NH Educator certification : 0040 Guidance Counselor
0046 School Psychologist
0049 School Social Worker
NH Mental Health Practitioner licensure preferred
Responsibilities:
Must possess the ability to work in a collaborative team environment and promote, develop, and enhance effective teamwork with the school and larger community.
Participate in developing and administering behavior plans and evaluations
Providing individual and group therapy for behaviorally and emotionally challenged students using a variety of modalities.
.
Provide family therapy , home visits if deemed appropriate and community support as necessary for students.
Attend and participate in meetings as necessary, and act as liaison while attending meetings with outside agencies.
Have and maintain, at least, general knowledge of special education laws and all handicapping conditions as identified in the State of New Hampshire.
Provide training, workshops or consultation to colleagues, parents and members of the community as needed.
Perform related duties as assigned by the Coordinator, Principal and/or Director of Student Services.
Salary:
Per Negotiated Teacher Agreement
