Computer Technician – PC Support/Installation

POSITION:                           Computer Technician – PC Support/Installation

QUALIFICATIONS:         

• Evidence of experience and ability to perform the duties outlined below
• Strong knowledge and proficiency with Mac OS X Server, Windows server and networking issues
• Knowledge of OS X, Windows 2000 and Windows XP
•  Ability to work independently
•  Strong interpersonal skills
•  Strong computer skills with both hardware and software on the Apple platform
• Valid driver's license
• Ability to lift and move computer equipment (approximately 40 pounds)
• Team player
• Strong communication skills
• Able to document step-by-step procedures for users

DUTIES:                              

• Set up and maintain computers and printers
• Install software
• Work closely with the Network Manager
• Set up and maintain Apple servers and applicable server software
• Troubleshoot problems arising from client machines
• Research and test new client and server software
• Perform other duties as assigned by Technology Director

HOURS:                                40 hours per week
                                               
PAY:                                      $14.48 to $16.94 per hour depending on experience and background
