REGISTRATION POLICY

The Portsmouth Recreation Department places all registered adults and children in programs and on teams except for those that have a limit to the number of participants that it may register. Once the registration period is over, we will NOT add anyone to any teams. By enforcing this rule we are hopeful that adults/parents will make a greater effort in making sure that they register on time. All programs are advertised through our Recreation Department Brochure, school flyers, Channel 22, City of Portsmouth Web Page and the local media.

Eligible Non-Residents: Children from the towns of Greenland, New Castle, Newington and Rye are the only Non-Residents who will be allowed to participate in programs that are directly sponsored and staffed by the Portsmouth Recreation Department. Throughout the year some programs/ events will be restricted to Portsmouth residents only.
