Comprehensive Recreation Needs Study

In 2009, the City initiated a Comprehensive Recreation Needs Study to assist in planning for the future of its recreation programs and facilities.  Specifically, the study was designed to help address the needs of the City's aging recreational infrastructure and the shortage of outdoor fields.  The study placed a large emphasis on public input.  As a result, three public meetings were held, 140 comments were submitted over the City's website and several meetings with stakeholder groups were held. The final report as well as related materials from the study can be found below.
