Project Description: This project is to build a new water treatment plant that will be the replacement the existing plant which was constructed in 1958 by the Army Corps of Engineers. The Madbury Water Treatment Plant (WTP), project will include construction of a new treatment plant at the existing site in Madbury including dissolve air flotation, new dual media rapid filters, additional clear well capacity, improved solids handling facilities and a new process control building.
