Sewer:

• None anticipated

Water:

Roadway Reconstruction:

• No major work anticipated at this time.  Contractor will be raising manhole and catch basin frames in areas recently paved.   Please be alert to workers and equipment in the roadways.

Sidewalks and Curbing:

• General clean-up is being completed and preparing for winter shutdown.
• Temporary stabilization of disturbed sidewalk areas to be reconstructed in the spring.
• Spreading of loam, and hydro-seeding for stabilization.

Rock Removal

• None anticipated

Water and Sewer Service and Interruptions
The Contractor is wrapping up operations for the season and no construction related service interruptions are anticipated until construction resumes in the spring.

Traffic Patterns
Road Closures: Lincoln Avenue, Wibird Street, Union Street, Broad Street, and Willow Lane are currently closed to thru traffic, but open to Local (Resident) Traffic Only.  All through traffic must follow the detour signs or seek alternate routes. Please follow all marked detours during working hours.

Parking: Please be aware of NO PARKING signs on Broad Street, Union Street, Wibird Street, and Lincoln Ave. On street parking will be limited or unavailable within the work zones. No parking times will be from 7am – 5pm, Monday thru Friday.  Barricades will be placed on a daily basis as needed by the contractor, but please be alert to material and equipment stored on the side of roads.

General Notes
As previously noted, work for the 2011 construction season is drawing to a close.  The contractor is anticipating suspending operations for the season the week of December 19th, however if weather allows minor miscellaneous clean up tasks may continue to be completed as weather allows for the next few weeks. 

It has been a long construction season but work is progressing as anticipated.  The City would once again like to thank everyone for their patience and ongoing cooperation during this substantial construction project. 

Work is anticipated to commence in late March of 2012, but is dependant on weather conditions at that time.  Areas of work that remain for the 2012 season are; Lincoln Avenue (between Miller Ave and Willow Ln), Broad Street (between Bersum Ln and South St), and Miller Avenue (between Spring St and South St).  Work also remains at the intersection of Lincoln and Richards to complete the drain system connection and eliminate the combined system overflow structure.
