Project #22: Aldrich Road Reconstruction
Update: The first phase of the project is complete as the water, sewer and drainage infrastructure has been replaced from Boss to Middle. In the spring, the contractor will return to complete the infrastructure improvements on Aldrich from Boss to Islington and on Boss from Aldrich to Sunset. After the utilities are reconstructed, the road will be reconstructed. The project is slated to be complete in June of 2014.
Project Description: The City will be replacing water, sewer and drainage lines in this area. Also part of the project will be streetscape improvements meant to deter speeding through the neighborhood.
Work will begin on Aldrich Road during the week of September 23. The area will be receiving new water, sewer and drain pipes as well as a new roadway configuration. The project is detailed further under project #22 (Aldrich Road) on the Citywide Construction Project page. The road will be subject to detours and will have limited access for the travelling public during the work day. Motorists are advised to use alternate routes.
