CITYWIDE PROJECTS 2011

Project # 10 Sewer Separation Contract 3B

Update...

On November 9, 2011, construction crews on Parrott Avenue plan to commence for preparation of asphalt paving, installation of pavement, and installation of granite curbing.  As result, there will be NO PARKING allowed on Parrott Avenue, from Rogers Street to Richards Avenue, with no through traffic allowed. Access to the Portsmouth Library parking lots will be maintained during all hours of Library operation.  All other traffic must seek alternate routes.  Please be aware of posted No Parking signage, and construction crews in the street.

In order to minimize impacts to busing schedules, the anticipated work may include fine grading on Friday, November 11th, with pavement installation occurring on Saturday, November 12th. The back-up date for paving will be Monday, November 14th. Installation of granite curbing will take place in the days after pavement work is completed, with all work being completed by November 18th. Please note that work is weather dependent.

If you have any questions, please contact Dan Hartrey at 610-7299, or Rick Dolce at 766 -1413
