Prescott Park Arts Festival  In 2008 the Prescott Park Arts Festival will celebrate its 34th anniversary of presenting music, theater and dance on the banks of the Piscataqua River. Located on 3.5 acres in downtown Portsmouth, the arts festival has a long and rich history of successfully presenting the arts with no fixed admission. Because of this policy, many people have their first experience with a live performance at Prescott Park. In the 34 years, the arts festival has entertained more than 3 million people in more than 9,000 productions. Variety is truly the spice of life at the arts festival where classical ballet is presented right alongside rock n' roll.
