Reference: Portsmouth Explorer Post Fund Raiser

The Portsmouth Police Department Explorer Post is currently conducting a local fund raising campaign. With the assistance of East Coast Marketing Group, Inc., the Portsmouth Explorers will host a comedy show this coming February, 2006.
Townspeople and area businesses may be called in the next several weeks for contributions. Proceeds from this fundraiser will support our Explorer Post.
The Portsmouth Police Explorers currently have nine cadets enrolled in the program. Participation in the post allows youth to explore a career in law enforcement and to serve the community through volunteer projects. Police officer role models provide youth with guidance and help them develop interpersonal skills. A credit to its leadership and youth participants, the Portsmouth Explorer Post has come in first place in the New Hampshire hosted Tri-state Explorer Competition for three consecutive years.
Proceeds from this fund raiser will help allow us to expand the post and outfit new cadets with uniforms, equipment and help to fund future training events for the post.
