On November 23, 2005, the Portsmouth Police Department Special Investigations Unit along with additional Detectives and Patrol Officers arrested:

AGE: 61
The arrest was the result of an investigation conducted by Detectives assigned to the Special Investigations Unit, into the unlawful sale of prescription narcotic medications by QUIMBY, within the City of Portsmouth.
Leigh Quimby is charged with the following offenses:
Three counts of: Sale of a Controlled/Narcotic Drug RSA 318-B 2,I
The sale of a controlled drug is a class A felony, punishable by 7 ½ - 15 years in state prison and a fine.
The investigation is complete and no further arrests are expected.
