Reference: Wanted registered sex offender

The Portsmouth Police Department is again asking for the public’s assistance in locating the following individual:
Bruce L. Gagnon
Date of birth 07/20/76
Last known address of:
2021 Lafayette Road
Portsmouth, NH
Mr. Gagnon was previously arrested on September 14th, 2006 for the following criminal charges:
Registration of Sex Offenders, Duty to Report/Failure to Comply (Class A Misdemeanor), and a Bench Warrant for: Driving While Intoxicated, Possession of a Controlled Drug, Operating After Suspension (all Misdemeanor charges).
Mr. Gagnon was processed at the Portsmouth Police Department following his arrest on September 14th, 2006 and released on $5,000 personal recognizance bail for the first charge of failing to register as a sex offender, and $2,500 personal recognizance bail for the remainder of the charges. He was scheduled for an arraignment date for the Failure to Comply charge at the Portsmouth District Court on October 30th, 2006, but failed to appear.
On November 19th, Mr. Gagnon was arrested again by the Portsmouth Police Department as a result of an arrest warrant for the additional criminal charge of Bail Jumping, a class A Misdemeanor. He was released after posting $500. cash bail for a December 18th arraignment date in Portsmouth District Court.
At this time, there is conficting information regarding Mr. Gagnon’s home address, however, the Portsmouth Police Department believes he is now residing at 2021 Lafayette Road in Portsmouth. However, due to the fact that Mr. Gagnon has not registered with a new address as required by law, there is now an additional arrest warrant in effect for the class A Misdemeanor charge of Registration of Sex Offenders/Duty to Comply, with an enhanced penalty attached to it.
