Reference: Telemarketers – Police Protective Fund

A telemarketing agency calling itself The Police Protective Fund has been soliciting donations from Portsmouth residents.

Police Chief Michael Magnant wishes to inform the public that the Police Protective Fund is in no way affiliated with the Portsmouth Police Department. Neither the Portsmouth Police Department nor the Portsmouth Police Relief Association has received any funds or donations from this agency.

Any Portsmouth resident receiving calls from telemarketers and having questions may call the Portsmouth Police Department.
