Reference: The Portsmouth Halloween Parade, October 31, 2006- 7 p.m.
This year the Halloween Parade is scheduled to begin at 7 p.m. on October 31, 2006.
The Halloween Parade Committee invites costumed spooks of all ages to gather for staging at South Mill Pond Playground on Junkins Ave., which is across from City Hall, at 6 p.m.
The parade is expected to last approximately one hour. Streets will be closed as the parade makes its way though downtown.
The parade will begin from the South Playground parking lot on Junkins Ave., and proceed down Junkins Ave to Parrott Ave, from Parrott Ave. to Rogers St., Rogers St. to Court St., Court St. to Middle St., Middle St. to State St., State St. to the Wright Ave. lot, the Wright Ave. lot to Daniel St., Daniel St. to Penhallow St., Penhallow St. to Bow St., Bow St. to Market St., Market St. to Congress St., Congress St. to Maplewood Ave., and Maplewood Ave. to the Worth Parking lot.
