Reference: Drug seizure and arrests

On Thursday, October 12th, 2006 at approximately 6:30 PM, members of the Portsmouth Police Department’s Special Investigations Unit participated in the search of a residence, seizure of drugs and evidence, and three arrests in Haverhill, Massachusetts.
This was the culmination of an ongoing two month long investigation into the illicit distribution of cocaine throughout the seacoast area, including Portsmouth. The Portsmouth Police Department worked in conjunction with the Kittery and York, Maine Police Departments, the Haverhill, Massachusetts Police Department, the Essex County (Mass.) Drug Task Force, the Massachusetts State Police and the United States Drug Enforcement Administration.
The following individuals were arrested:

Jeremy Gagalias
Date of birth 09/18/82
Haverhill, Mass.
All three are currently being charged with numerous felony charges related to drug trafficking. Over a pound of cocaine with a street value of $50,000 was seized, approximately $20,000 in cash, drug paraphernalia and a firearm were also seized.
The cocaine seized was believed to be targeted for distribution in Portsmouth and the surrounding seacoast communities.
