Reference: Kenneth Pratt – Arson Arrest
On Friday, October 07, 2005 the Portsmouth Police Department responded to a report of a fire at 293 Rockland Street. A resident reported a fire in the driveway and a male individual running from the driveway. A fire had been lit in the driveway next to a woodpile.
The resident went out as the male individual ran off. The resident was able to extinguish the fire and provide police with a description of the individual. K-9 Ofc. Tim Black and K-9 Kai were on duty and called to the scene. A track was done which led officers to 499 Middle Street, the residence of:

Portsmouth, NH
DOB 01/20/61
Pratt was taken into custody at the scene. He is charged with one count of arson, a Class B Felony. He will be arraigned Friday in the Portsmouth District Court.
Detectives from the Bureau of Investigative Services also responded to the scene for evidence collection and further investigations.
