On Wednesday, September 12, 2007 at 10:00 AM, the Portsmouth Police Department arrested the following individual:

Frederick ‘Jay’ Bishop
Date of birth 11/22/61
142 Meadow Road
Portsmouth, NH

Mr. Bishop was arrested for the following:

Registration of Sex Offender/Duty to Report (Class A Misdemeanor).

This arrest is the result of an investigation that led to an arrest warrant from the Portsmouth Police Department, alleging that Mr. Bishop has not complied with the conditions of the sex offender registry as required by law.

After being processed at the Portsmouth Police Department, Mr. Bishop was released on $1,000 personal recognizance bail. He is scheduled to be arraigned in the Portsmouth District Court on October 15, 2007 at 8:30 AM.
