On Wednesday, September 5, 2007, the following individual turned himself in to the Portsmouth Police Department as a result of an arrest warrant:

Mr. Garrity was arrested for the following misdemeanors:
Criminal Threatening and Harassment.
This arrest is the result of an incident that was originally reported on August 17th, 2007 to the New Hampshire Port Authority located at 555 Market Street, Portsmouth. This incident involved a metal facsimile of a tombstone that was found at the Port Authority, with initials marked on it. Mr. Garrity was identified as the person who was responsible for writing on the tombstone.
The case was turned over to the Portsmouth Police Department on August 27th, 2007. This arrest is the result of further investigation by the Portsmouth Police Department’s Bureau of Investigative Services.
Mr. Garrity was processed and released on personal recognizance bail, and to have no intentional contact with the victim. He is scheduled to appear for arraignment on these charges in Portsmouth Distirct Court on October 29th, 2007.
