Reference: Elijah Wallace arrest

On Tuesday, September 5th, 2006, the following individual was served with yet another arrest warrant by the Portsmouth Police Department:

Elijah P. Wallace
Date of birth 03/20/83
Currently incarcerated at the Rockingham County Jail
Brentwood, N.H.


Mr. Wallace was arrested after a hearing at the Portsmouth District Court for criminal charges that he was arrested for in August (refer to previous press release). These new charges are a result of further investigation into the activities of Mr. Wallace. The two new criminal charges are:

Witness Tampering (Felony), Criminal Threatening with an Extended Term of Imprisonment (Class A Misdemeanor).

It is alleged that during the month of July, Mr. Wallace sent anti-Semitic letters that referenced the Jewish community in Portsmouth. After an extensive investigation by the Portsmouth Police Departmentís Bureau of Investigations in conjunction with Rockingham County Jail authorities, Mr. Wallace was identified as the suspect.

As with the previous charges against Mr. Wallace, the affidavit and complaints in this case have been sealed due to the highly volatile nature of the threats.

Mr. Wallace is currently incarcerated at the Rockingham County Jail, and he was returned there again after todayís hearing.
