Reference: BB gun arrests

The following individuals are currently under arrest in Maine by the Maine State Police and the York County Sheriff’s Department:
Enrique ‘Ricky’ Arias
Date of birth 01/16/88

Joshua Pearcy
Date of birth 09/12/86
760 Clarks Woods Road
Lyman, Maine
Mr. Arias is currently being held on charges of Aggravated Criminal Mischief and Reckless Conduct with a Dangerous Weapon.
Mr. Pearcy is currently being held on the charge of Criminal Mischief.
Both face more than 100 additional criminal charges from various jurisdictions within York County, Maine. All of the charges are related to a BB gun shooting spree that occurred throughout the seacoast of New Hampshire and York County.
Both arrestees have positively been identified as being responsible for more than a dozen incidents in Portsmouth over the past two weeks where BB guns were shot at vehicles, both moving and stationary. Additionally, they have been identified as the suspects responsible for shooting at pedestrians and a victim who was riding his bicycle on Woodbury Avenue. Search warrants were executed last night at both arrestees’ residences in Maine, where evidence believed to be linked to these crimes was seized.
The Portsmouth Police Department, along with the other jurisdictions, is currently completing more arrest warrants for both arrestees. Both are currently being held at the York County Jail pending their arraignment on the current Maine charges.
