Reference: Felony drug arrests

On Wednesday, July 18th, 2007 at approximately 3:00 PM, members of the Portsmouth Police Department’s Special Investigations Unit along with members of the Patrol Division, the Drug Enforcement Administration and the Kittery Police Department arrested the following individuals in Portsmouth:

18 Hillside Street, Apt. A
Baileyville, Maine

Charges: Sale of a Narcotic Drug, Possession of a Narcotic Drug with Intent to Distribute.

Veronica L. Williams
Date of birth 07/16/67
18 Hillside Street, Apt. A
Baileyville, Maine

Charges: Possession of a Narcotic Drug, Possession of a Controlled Drug and Possession of a Narcotic Drug with Intent to Distribute.

Seized as a result of these arrests was cocaine, marijuana and various prescription pills, with a combined total street value of approximately $7,000. Both arrestees are still currently being processed by the Portsmouth Police Department, and no bail or court date have been set.

These arrests are part of an ongoing, proactive partnership between the Portsmouth Police Department, the DEA/HIDTA Task Force and the Kittery Police Department to combat drug trafficking in the seacoast area.
