Reference: Theft and forgery arrest
Date of Release: May 31st, 2006
On Tuesday, May 30th, 2006 at approximately 3:15 PM, the following individual turned herself in to the Portsmouth Police Department:
Marie Garcia
Date of birth 08/30/82
14 M Street
Hampton, New Hampshire 03842
Detective John Peracchi served Ms. Garcia with an arrest warrant that was the result of an investigation into crimes that occurred during January and February of this year. Ms. Garcia was charged with the following nine felonies:
Five counts: Theft by Unauthorized Taking, contrary to N.H. RSA 637:3
Four counts: Forgery, contrary to N.H. RSA 638:1
The victims of these crimes are individuals as well as the Banknorth located at International Drive in Portsmouth. It is alleged that Ms. Garcia obtained a combined total dollar amount of $7,250 as a result of these crimes.
Ms. Garcia was processed at the Portsmouth Police Department and released on $25,000 personal recognizance bail for a July 10th, 2006 arraignment date at Portsmouth District Court.
