Reference: May 6, 2007 Children’s Day Parking Restrictions.
Chief Michael J. Magnant of the Portsmouth Police Department is invoking his “Emergency Powers” and orders that NO PARKING will be permitted on the following Portsmouth Streets on Sunday May 6th, 2007 from 11:00am and 5:00pm due to the annual children’s day events”
- Pleasant Street between State Street and Market Square.
- Church Street.
- Parking lot at the corner of Market and Hanover Streets.
- Market Street from Market and Bow Street intersection to the Isles of Shoals Steamship Company.
Vehicles still parked at these locations on May 6th at 11:00am will be towed at the owner’s expense. The parking garage will have a flat rate of $3:00 between the hours of 11:00am and 4:00pm.
